what is difference between Behavioural RTL and Schematic RTL?
Accepted Answer Pending Moderation
Behavioral RTL is not necessarily tied with any technology library, like the definition of what kind of D flip-flop is required and so forth. So, essentially it simply describes the behavior of a D flip-flop for different stimuli and just that. You can model delays in the behavioral RTL to mimic real world scenarios, which may not be synthesizable. After synthesis, you'll get an RTL netlist (schematic) which will have instances of the D flip-flop based on a selected technology.
